Solved: Wifi range extender won't accept router password
Mar 07, 2011 · set up Linksys WRT54GL as a WiFi repeater with Tomato Since I got the new ASUS RT-N16 , the old Linksys WRT54GL v1.1 router has been sitting there and collecting dust. There is only one phone line at home at one corner of the house, so I have been thinking of using the idle router as a WiFi repeater so that I can get decent WiFi coverage for I upgrade from tomato by shibby to freshtomato. I'm like 90% sure I clicked on erase Nvram after flashing. I tried connecting through ethernet and wifi. I can see freshtomato24/50 but I can't connect. I have a IP address. I can see the router's gateway address but I can't connect to the webui. I have another routre Netgear wgr614v9. This router can be in repeater mode. Let's give a name RE I catch signal from IN very low. And I want use router NETGEAER ( RE ) as a repeater for good singal for laptop. My question is: How to configure IN to send or share internet from wifi signal witch RE.
